Team Hub Guide
Everything you need to get into the hub, put it on your phone like an app, and use it day to day.
1 · Getting access
- Leadership adds you to the team roster using your work Google account (your @crownheirs.com email). If you haven’t received one, ask Emily or Bethany.
- On your phone, open team.crownheirs.com in your browser (Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android).
- Tap Sign in with Google and choose your work account — not your personal Gmail. If your phone signs you into the wrong account, tap your profile picture on the Google screen and switch.
- That’s it — no separate password to remember. Your Google sign-in is your login.
Seeing “you’re not on the team roster yet”? You signed in fine, but your email hasn’t been added yet — tell a manager which email you used.
2 · Put the hub on your home screen
The hub works like an app once it’s on your home screen — one tap, full screen, with the Crown Heirs tile.
iPhone (Safari)
- Open team.crownheirs.com in Safari (this doesn’t work from Chrome or the Google app on iPhone).
- Tap the Share button — the square with the arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add (top right). The Crown Heirs tile appears on your home screen.
Android (Chrome)
- Open team.crownheirs.com in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu (top right).
- Tap Add to Home screen (on some phones it says Install app), then confirm.
Bonus: on My Profile there’s a personal calendar link — subscribe to it in Google or Apple Calendar and your shifts, meetings, and approved time off show up on your own phone calendar automatically.
3 · Using the hub day to day
The home screen greets you with “Needs your attention” — if something actually requires you to do something (sign a document, finish a training, renew a license, acknowledge something, an unread message), it’s listed there with a link straight to it. If it says “You’re all caught up ✓”, everything else on the page is just information.
- Time Clock — punch in when you arrive and out when you leave. Check in at or before your scheduled start.
- Daily Duties — your opening/closing and rotation tasks for the day. Check them off as you finish; it’s tracked.
- Schedule & Time Off — see the week’s schedule, request days off, and request shift swaps.
- Calendar — meetings, birthdays, and your own time off. Need a meeting with a manager, director, or the CEO/COO? Use Request a meeting right on the Calendar page — pick who, how soon, your time preference, and the days you’re available.
- Messages — the Whole Team chat reaches everyone; create groups (your tribe, front desk, Saturday crew) or message teammates directly. Photos and reactions work like you’d expect.
- Handbook — read it top to bottom once, then sign at the bottom of the page. The KPIs, Career Path, and Corrective Action pages live there too.
- Training — videos and quizzes; anything required for your role shows on your to-do list until it’s done.
- My Profile — your photo (it uses your Google picture automatically), bio, licenses & certifications. Upload renewal certificates here — photos or PDFs up to 4 MB (a screenshot works great).
- Team Shop — order scrubs and merch. Scrubs let you pick your top size and bottom size separately; pay by card or payroll deduction.
- Facilities Request — something broken, leaking, or flickering? Report it under Resources → Facilities Request and management is notified immediately. For anything dangerous, tell a manager in person first.
- Suggestion Box & Meeting Notes — ideas welcome, and your 1:1 notes live under Team.
The welcome tour & the little gold tips
Your first time on the home page, a short welcome tour walks you around — five quick steps, skippable anytime. Around the hub you’ll also see soft gold tips (💡) pointing the way. Tap Got it ✓ when you’ve read one, or Turn off all tips if you’d rather explore without them. Changed your mind? The buttons at the top of this page bring the tour and tips back.
If something goes wrong
- Wrong Google account — sign out (your picture, top right → Sign out), then sign back in and pick the work account.
- A file won’t upload — it’s probably over 4 MB. The form will tell you; a screenshot of the document is the easy fix.
- Something didn’t save — the hub will say so with a red message and the reason. If it keeps happening, tell a manager exactly what you were doing.
Managers: print this page (button at the top) for new-hire packets, or send new teammates the link — this page is readable before signing in.
